Light
Tasks will include calling attention to confusing passages, clarifying terms, correlating parts, querying factual inconsistencies, and maintaining mechanical consistency. Edits will be tracked using Track Changes and include a style sheet.
Medium
Similar to light, including revision of all grammatical, syntax, and usage errors. I will also suggest revisions of wordy passages, ask for definitions of obscure terms, and query faulty organization and logical gaps. Includes a transmittal letter.
Heavy
Combining the elements of light and medium, but I will rewrite verbose sections, verify and correct factual errors, plus fix organizational and logical gaps.
Proofreading
Final Pass
Intended for those with cleaner texts containing fewer errors. As the heading suggests, this is the last call to catch any remaining typos.
